The airline operated its flights on domestic routes with pilots hired from elsewhere on Friday.

Its Assistant General Manager Kamrul Islam said the protesting pilots ended their strike and resumed work “unconditionally” from Sunday after several rounds of talks with the management.

“Our flights resumed on domestic and international routes from Saturday,” he told bdnews24.com.

United's pilots went on strike on Apr 22 demanding outstanding salaries that led to the grounding of all flights.

The airline, often accused of poor services, closed down for a few days last September over a conflict of ownership leading to severe sufferings of the passengers.
