'Tigers join hands'

Shakib Al Hasan, the highest ranked all rounder in the world, is Banglalink’s new brand ambassador.

The second largest mobile phone operator in the country announced Shakib’s appointment at a press conference in Dhaka’s Westin hotel on Saturday.

The world famous Bangladeshi cricketer will participate in the promotion of Banglalink and work to highlight its image, said CEO Ziad Shatara.

“Banglalink is proud of this association,” Shatara said, adding, “Two tigers joining hands together to start something new.”

Cricket is big in Bangladesh and the Banglalink CEO feels the initiative with Shakib is “on a truly grand scale”.
