Dragon Air was voted best in two categories - ‘World’s Best Regional Airline’ and ‘Best Regional Airline in Asia’. Cathay Pacific, on the other hand, has been awarded as ‘World’s Best Cabin Staff’ and ‘Best Trans-Pacific Airline’.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are based on the largest airline survey on passenger satisfaction. Based on the votes from more than 18 million passengers from 160 countries, the survey covered more than 200 airlines and accessed customer-service standards on 40 criterions.

Dragon Air’s CEO Patrick Yeung and Cathay Pacific’s CEO John Slosar received the award from Paris Air Show on Sunday.

“The awards are a reflection of great team work displayed by Dragon Air Staff,” said Yeung during the ceremony.

“Service and products play an important part on overall experience of passengers. And we are working hard to enhance these services every hour,” he added.
Dragon Air, which started journey on April, 2012 operates flights to 13 destinations.
Cathay Pacific has cargo flights to 42 countries and 168 destinations.
