Two girls drown in Bogra’s Sherpur
Two children have drowned in the Bangali River in Bogra.

The incident occurred in the Khamarkandi Union of Sherpur Upazila on Wednesday afternoon, said Sherpur Police Inspector Bulbul Ahammed.
The victims are Brishti, 6, and Farzana,7.
The two girls went to the river to bathe with Brishti’s mother around 12 pm, said police official Bulbul.
“The two stepped into the river while Brishti’s mother was setting out clothes to dry and drowned.”
Police have recovered the bodies , he added.
