President Hamid congratulates Tigers on ‘milestone victory’
President Md Abdul Hamid has congratulated the Bangladesh Cricket team on their victory in their 100th Test match.

The Tigers beat Sri Lanka in Colombo by 4 wickets on Sunday.
“Bangladesh’s victory in its 100th Test is a milestone in our cricketing history,” said the president in a message soon after the match.
“This victory will inspire Bangladesh cricket and its fans and have a positive impact in our development in the game.”
The president also expressed his hope the team would continue to earn such wins in the future.
He also presented his compliments to the players, the coach, the Bangladesh Cricket Board officials and workers and cricket fans over the ‘milestone victory’.
In a separate message Speaker of Jatiya Sangshad Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury also congratulated the team.
“Bangladesh has become the fastest team to reach their 100th game and has set a unique record,” she said. “This victory will serve as motivation for greater success in the future.”
