Broken tree branch kills motorcyclist
A motorcyclist has been killed in Dhaka after being struck by a broken tree branch.

The accident occurred by the lake near the National Parliament House on Sunday morning, said Sher-e-Bangla Nagor Police SI Mohammad Nurul Islam.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year old Mujahidul Islam, who hailed from Gazipur’s Joydebpur. He was a resident of Mirpur’s Paikparha.
A branch broke off from a tree and fell on Mujahid’s motorcycle around 10am, SI Mohammad told bdnews24.com.
The branch was removed and Mujahid was taken to Suhrawardy Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
