18 houses gutted by fire in Gazipur
A fire has gutted 18 houses at Gazipur’s Kaliakair Upazila on Monday.

The fire erupted at the house of one Khorshed Alam in Andharmanik area around 8pm and soon spread to houses in the neighbuorhood , Kaliakair Fire Service’s Senior Station Officer Apurba Bal said.
“No casualty was reported but valuables inside the houses were burnt,” he told bdnews24.com.
“Two fire fighting units put out the flames after an hour.”
Fire service officials suspected that electric short-circuit triggered the fire.
