One killed in ‘shootout’ with RAB at Pabna
One person has been killed in an alleged shootout with RAB in Pabna’s Sathia Upazila.

The ‘shootout’ occurred at the upazila’s Holudghar village early on Monday morning, said RAB Pabna Camp Commander Beena Rani Das.
RAB has not disclosed the identity of the victim.
A group of criminals opened fire on a RAB squad during a raid in the village, RAB official Das said.
“The criminals retreated when RAB returned fire,” she said. “A dead body was recovered from the spot later.”
A foreign pistol, a few rounds of ammunition and some sharp weapons were found on the spot, the RAB official added.
