Ship carrying 750 gets stuck on Bay of Bengal shoal
A ship with 750 passengers on board got stuck in a shoal in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday.

The vessel LCT Kutubdia was on way to the Saint Martin's Island from Teknaf, said Md Shafiul Alam, upazila executive officer of Teknaf.
It got stuck on a shoal near Saint Martin's Island around 12:30pm, he said.
The tourists were taken off the ship by fishing trawlers and speed boats. The ship will be moved during high tide, he said.
