Two to die for Chandpur expatriate’s murder
A court has sentenced a woman and her alleged lover to death for the murder of her husband.

Chandpur Additional District Sessions Judge Md Mamunur Rashid delivered the verdict in 2013 murder on Monday.
On Jul 7 that year, Kalandar Gazi, a Bangladesh expatriate living in Saudi Arabia , was murdered in his Chandpur home while he was on vacation.
The court found his wife 26-year-old Shilpi Begum and her ‘lover’ 28-year-old Kabir Gazi guilty of the murder.
Chandpur Additional Public Prosecutor Sayedul Islam said the two buried the body near the house and filed a missing person's report with police.
“Police detained Kabir Gazi in connection with the murder,” he said adding that the wife was arrested based on his confession.
