A truck veered off the road and crushed three pedestrians, including a minor in Lalmonirhat.

Police said the accident happened in Patrgram Upazila around 7am on Monday on the Lalmonirhat-Burhimari highway, said Patgram police OC Abani Shankar.
The victims have been identified as 25-year-old Hafez Dalwar Hossain, 23-year-old Hafez Abdus Sattar, and 10-year-old Labib Hossain.
A truck heading from Pabna to Burhimari hit the pedestrians after the driver lost control, said the police officer.
Dalwar and Labib died on the spot while Sattar died on the way to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
The truck driver and his assistant have fled, said OC Shankar.
