This raises the death toll in the devastating fire to 39.

Rescuers from the fire service and army recovered the bodies, rather skeletal remains of the victims, between 11am and 1pm on Monday, Gazipur fire service's Deputy Director Md Akhtaruzzaman said.

Nine of the dead, who were burned so badly, could not be identified by the health and rescue officials while some were still reported missing.

On the morning of Sept 10, a fatal fire swept across the factory, which was initially believed to be due to a boiler explosion.

But authorities later found the two boilers of the factory intact and not damaged.

A member of the Titas Gas investigation body said he suspected a gas line booster explosion caused the fire, but the probe body later said they suspect chemicals stored in the factory were responsible for the blaze.
