Gold bars weighing three kilograms have been found inside a waste basket at the Dhaka airport.

Customs Intelligence chief Moinul Khan said 10 bars, wrapped with duct tape, were found on Monday morning in a toilet at the immigration area of the Shahjalal International Airport.
"Customs officials started a search after a tip-off from 5am. Around 6am, the gold bars were found inside a waste basket in a toilet," said Khan.
He said five of the gold bars weighed 500 grams each and the rest 100 grams each,
Khan placed the estimated value of the gold bars at around Tk 15 million.
Officials said they were going through video footage to identify the smuggler(s) .
