A fatal fire swept the factory of Tampaco Foil early on Saturday, which is said to have started after a boiler exploded.

The fire caused a partial collapse of the five-storey factory building.

The death toll in the incident now stands at 25 , while dozens others have been hospitalised with injuries.

"The matter is being investigated and steps will be taken if anyone is found guilty," Amu told the media on Sunday after visiting the site at the BSCIC Industrial Zone.

Amu said that his ministry has decided to launch an investigation in all factories to check out their equipments. "We have instructed to check for leakages, electrical malfunction and the boilers."
