Two die after covered van hits rickshaw in Chittagong
A rickshaw-puller and the passenger of his vehicle have been killed after being hit by a covered van in Chittagong’s Bandartila area.

The accident occurred near the Darus Salam Mosque on Friday morning, said EPZ police Assistant Sub-Inspector Khurshid Alam.
He identified the deceased as rickshaw-puller Md Babul, 45, and Kohinur Begum, 45.
Babul had died on the spot, but Kohinur passed away after she was rushed to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital, Alam said.
Police detained the driver of the covered van and impounded his vehicle, he added.
