The public administration ministry in an order issued on Sunday announced the promotions of Anti Corruption Commission’s Acting Secretary Abu Md Mostofa Kamal and Planning Commission’s Acting Member Ahmed Hossain Khan.

They were made officers of special duty (OSD) at the ministry first. Later, Kamal was made the secretary of ACC in a separate order.

But Khan, who will go to post-retirement leave on May 11, is yet to be placed anywhere.

Before the promotion, Khan served as the chairman of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC).

Kamal had been serving as the ACC director general before he was made the anti-grant watchdog’s acting secretary on Oct 11 last year.
