Central Hospital fire under control

The fire at Dhaka’s Central Hospital has been put out after an hour-long effort.

Smoke was seen billowing out of a storage facility at the basement of the hospital at Green Road, Dhanmondi Police Station OC Noor-e-Azam Miah told bdnews24.com at 2pm Thursday.

Four fire fighting reached the spot after hearing of the fire at 1:30pm, said Fire Service official Ataur Rahman.

“The cause of the fire is still unknown.”
