Case filed over murder of 11-year-old boy in Ctg
A case has been filed over the murder of an 11-year-old boy in Chittagong’s Panchlaish Thana area.

Panchlaish police’s OC Mohiuddin Mahmud said the victim’s relative filed a case on Wednesday morning.
“A case has already been filed. Police are now trying to identify and arrest the criminals,” he said.
On Tuesday around 9pm, the 11-year-old Asadul Mia was shot dead by miscreants near the city’s Mohammadpur Tuni Munshir Barhi area.
Asadul hailed from Sarail in Brahmanbarhia. He came to visit his uncle in Panchlaish.
Panchlaish Police Station SI Manirul Islam told, quoting the locals, two miscreants on motorcycle came to aluminium trader Delwar Sheikh’s shop.
Asadul was returning to his uncle’s house after buying candles at that time.
“Miscreants opened fire at Delwar Sheikh but the bullet hit Asadul in the head,” said SI Islam adding that the boy died on the spot.
Police arrested Delwar Sheikh the same night for interrogation.
