SSC, equivalent exams results on Saturday

The results for this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be declared on Saturday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will announce the results in a media conference at the Secretariat at 1pm.
 
The results will be published at 2pm.
 
 Nearly 1.5 million students took these exams this year.
 
As usual, Nahid will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban at 10am.

The exams were scheduled to begin on Feb 1, but were deferred to Feb 6 after the BNP-Jamaat-e-Islami alliance announced an indefinite transport blockade.
All the exams were deferred and taken on weekly holidays – Fridays and Saturdays.
The written exams, scheduled to end on Mar 10, ended on Apr 3.
Of the total 1,479,266  SSC examinees, 699,525 were female.
The students will be able to access the results through mobile phones as well.
A student will have to type SSC<space>first three letters of education board’s name<space>roll No.<space>2015 and SMS to 16222 to get the result in a reply SMS.
The results will also be available on the websites of the education boards.
