2 ‘Dacoits’ lynched, 5 injured in Keraniganj
Locals have lynched to death two suspected dacoits at Dhaka’s Keraniganj. Five others, injured in the mob fury, were handed over to the police.

“A group of dacoits were on their way to Manikganj’s Singair on Monday night through Rasulpur village,” Keraniganj Model Police Station’s OC Md Mojibur Rahman told bdnews24.com quoting locals.
“Locals found out and attacked the gang. Seven dacoits were caught and thrashed. Two were killed on spot,” the police official added.
He said that the other suspected dacoits, all injured, were handed over to Singair police.
One of those killed has been identified as 28-year-old ‘Shohag’ who hailed from Munshiganj’s Lauhajang area.
