Hamid, Hasina, Khaleda congratulate Bangladesh on Pakistan whitewash
President Md Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia have congratulated the Bangladesh team on whitewashing Pakistan.

The Tigers completed 3-0 rout of the 1992 world champions with a comprehensive eight-wicket win at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur on Wednesday.
It was Bangladesh’s first series win against Pakistan.
In a message, the president hailed the players, coaches and backroom staff.
He hoped the Tigers would continue the winning streak.
“I wish them all success,” he said.
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil toldbdnews24.com Hasina, now visiting Indonesia, congratulated the Tigers on their resounding victory.
“Despite her busy schedule, the prime minister enquired about the Bangladesh team... The prime minister wished more success for the Bangladesh cricket team.”
Khaleda Zia’s Special Assistant Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas told bdnews24.com the BNP chief had hailed the cricketers, coaches and officials for the Tigers’ victory.
