Hotlines for Bangladeshis in Yemen

Bangladesh foreign ministry has released a set of contacts for the Bangladeshis stranded in trouble-hit Yemen.

Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque on Wednesday said they had formally approached to International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and talked with India to bring back Bangladeshi nationals between 1500 and 3000 living in Yemen.

Bangladesh does not have mission in Yemen. The embassy in Kuwait is accredited to Yemen.

Hotlines have also been established, the foreign secretary said, urging all to contact for any help.
