Indian president wishes Bangladesh well on National Day

India’s President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of of Bangladesh on the eve of the National Day.

Bangladesh will observe its Independence and National Day on Thursday.
 
In his message to President Md Abdul Hamid, Mukherjee has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you and to the people of Bangladesh our warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day...”
 
The president said, “I recall with great pleasure our meeting during your visit to India in December, 2014. 
 
“I am confident that the relationship between our two countries would continue to grow and expand to include new areas of cooperation in a mutually beneficial manner.”
