Death for one, 14-years in jail for 2 others for rape and murder
A man has been sentenced to death for raping and killing his sister-in-law nine years ago.

On Sunday, Dhaka’s Fifth Women and Child Oppression Prevention Tribunal found three people guilty for the rape and murder in 2006.
Md Alamgir has been awarded death sentence for raping and killing his sister-in-law.
His friends Rahid Hassan Milon and ‘Ripon’ got 14 years in jail and were fined Tk 100,000 , failing to pay which would lead to another two years of imprisonment.
All of the convicted were on bail during the trial.
Of them, Alamgir and Ripon have been sent to jail after the verdict was delivered on Sunday while Milon is absconding, said public prosecutor Ali Asgar Swapan.
