Indian scholarships open for 2015-2016

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has announced its scholarships for 2015-2016.

Under-graduate, post graduate and Phd level students from Bangladesh can now apply for different courses in India with the exception of medicine.

ICCR handles Indian government’s scholarships for foreign students.

Every year more than 200 Bangladeshi students receive scholarships under the ICCR.

ICCR is offering these scholarships under Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme, India Scholarship Scheme, and Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme in this session.

Those with proficiency in English and at least 60 percent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 can submit the primary application, Indian High Commission in Dhaka said on Saturday in a media release.

The last date of applying through email is on Jan 10.
