"This is to ensure government offices' accountability and to evaluate its success. This has been successfully implemented in neighbouring India," he told a workshop at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka.

The three-day workshop on executive management in government offices has been organised by the Cabinet Division and BRAC University's Institute of Governance and Development.

"The government will take necessary steps to initiate this system after evaluating the Indian experience and other factors," Rizvi told the workshop.

Cabinet Secretary Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said that once implemented, the system will lead to significant progress in executive management. "And it will have a positive impact on the country's governance."

Secretaries of different ministries are taking part in the three-day workshop.
