US embassy closed on Sunday, Monday
The US embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section, will remain closed on Sunday and Monday for Eid-ul-Azha, one of the main Muslim religious festivals.

The Eid will be celebrated on Monday across Bangladesh.
The American Center with the Archer K Blood American Center Library and the Education USA Student Advising Center will also remain closed.
American citizens, however, will able to avail emergency services by calling 885-5500, the embassy has said in a media release on Thursday.
