Tk 6mn snatched after shooting businessman in Khulna
A group of miscreants made away with Tk 6 million after shooting a businessman and stabbing one of his staff at Khulna's Rupsha Upazila on Thursday.

The robbery took place around 3pm at Upazila Sadar's Jabusa area, Detective Branch of police's OC TM Rokonuzzaman told bdnews24.com.
The victim, Ashraful Islam, 45, runs a business in shrimps in the south Rupsha area.
Rokonuzzaman said Islam , accompanied by his employee Amirul, was on his way back after withdrawing Tk 6 million from the local branch of BRAC Bank when he was robbed.
The miscreants waylaid them at gunpoint at the Jabusa intersection, shot t Islam, stabbed Amirul and decamped with the money at great speed, the OC said.
He added that Islam and Amirul were first taken to Wadud Memorial Hospital, but they were later admitted at Rupsha Upazila Health Complex.
