President Abdul Hamid will administer the oath to those who will join the all-party interim government at the Bangabhaban's Darbar Hall around 3pm on Monday.

But neither the size nor who is joining the interim cabinet have been made clear so far.

It is also not clear whether Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will remain at the helm, amid speculations she might consider stepping down, but only if the BNP agrees to join the interim cabinet.

The BNP has said it will not join the interim cabinet -- so perhaps the Prime Minister stays on.

The Cabinet secretary fuelled media speculations when he said 'all those named in media reports as joining the interim cabinet are not going to be there'.
Bhuiyan said that the Prime Minister would hand over to the President resignations of those ministers who are not going to be in the interim cabinet.
The Cabinet Division will issue a gazette and the Prime Minister would distribute offices among the new cabinet members, he said.
Bhuiyan dodged questions on whether anyone from the BNP had been invited.
"I can't come up with names," he said.
The 10th parliament election will have to be organised by Jan 24 , 2014 and the Prime Minister is determined to organise it under supervision of an all-party interim cabinet.
The BNP wants it held under a non-party caretaker dispensation.
