A large number of anxious people tried to move out of the five-story RF Tower, located behind Rana Plaza, after news spread that it was ‘shaking’.

Rescuers, including the Bangladesh Army men, were conducting salvage operations at the RF Tower, Savar Police Station Officer in-Charge Asaduzzaman told bdnews24.com.

It seemed to them that the building quivered at around 8:45am, he said. “At least 30 people were injured while hurrying out of the building.”

The injured were taken to the Enam Medical College Hospital in the morning, he added.

Rana Plaza caved in on Wednesday morning. Death toll was counting towards 300. Though many more are trapped inside, rescuers have 24 hours before salvage operations are to be called off.
