Dacoit lynched in Narshingdi
Three separate dacoities occurred Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at Nagar Baniadi of Sadar upazila in Narshingdi, Karimpur and Srinagar area of Meghna river. A dacoit was lynched and a house owner was injured in the incident.

Narshingdi, July 6 (BDNEWS) – Three separate dacoities occurred Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at Nagar Baniadi of Sadar upazila in Narshingdi, Karimpur and Srinagar area of Meghna river. A dacoit was lynched and a house owner was injured in the incident.
The killed dacoit was identified as Soilla Faruk (27), son of Shahabuddin of Ghorapara municipality in Narshingdi town.
Local sources said, a group of seven to eight armed dacoits swooped on the house of Mubarak Miah, a businessman of Nagar Baniadi village and they entered the house breaking the door. They wanted the key of the almirah.
Dacoits fired on Mubarak as he refused to give the key. He received serious injury on his hand.
Hearing his cry local people announced the incident of dacoity over the loud speaker of the mosque. They also captured dacoit Soilla. He disclosed the names of other seven dacoits.
Wounded Mubarak Miah was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Two other incidents of dacoity also happened Thursday morning at Karimpur and Srinagar area of Meghna river in Narshingdi. Dacoits looted all the valuables from two engine boats.
