Dhaka, Aug 2 (bdnews24.com) - Bangladesh will send a 56-member contingent to the 19th Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi from October 3-14, said a press release.
The Bangladesh Olympic Association said on Monday they were pinning their hopes in shooting and archery.
Bangladesh Handball Federation president Nurul Fazal Bulbul has been named as chef-de-mission. The contingent comprises 35 athletics and 21 officials.
Leading athletes will compete in 17 disciplines - Aquatics, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Field Hockey. Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby, Shooting, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
Bangladesh will compete in six disciplines - Aquatics, Archery, Athletics, Boxing, Shooting and Weightlifting.
