People paid their last respects to renowned lyricist and filmmaker Gazi Mazharul Anwar at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on Monday, Sept 5, 2022. The award-winning songwriter and freedom fighter was also given a guard of honour on behalf of the state. The lyricist of numerous famous songs died at United Hospital on Sunday.
