Troops deployed in Dhaka for election

The government has deployed armed forces personnel in Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh to help the civil administration maintain law and order during the Jan 7 general election. Army personnel departed for their destinations in the capital from Dhaka Cantonment’s Zia Colony and Sainik Club on Wednesday, Jan 3, 2024.
