Police said Subhan, who is also a former MP, was kept in the lockup in the ICT-2.
The tribunal, chaired by Justice Obaidul Hasan, is scheduled to announce the verdict after 10am.
Subhan stood trial on charges of committing crimes against humanity during the nation’s war of independence from Pakistan in 1971.
