The Dhaka South City Corporation has already prepared the National Eidgah ground to accommodate some 35,000 people

As per tradition, the main Eid-ul-Azha Jamaat, or prayer congregation, will be held at the National Eidgah in Dhaka at 7:30 am.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin, cabinet members, members of parliament, political leaders and people from all walks of life will take part in the main Eid congregation on Monday.
Moulana Mohammed Ruhul Amin, Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, will act as the imam of the main Eid-ul-Azha prayer service.
The Dhaka South City Corporation has already prepared the National Eidgah ground, adjacent to the High Court, to accommodate at least 35,000 people for the Jamaat.
The authorities have also put in place security measures for the main congregation. Top officials of law enforcing agencies are monitoring the security arrangements.
If adverse weather prevents the use of the outdoor Eidgah, the president will instead take part in the Eid prayer service at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8am.
The national mosque will hold five jamaats, beginning with the first at 7:00am, the second at 8:00am, the third at 9:00am, the fourth at 10:00am and the final congregation at 10:45am, according to the Islamic Foundation.
Every year, the biggest Eid congregation in the country is held at Kishoreganj’s Sholakia ground. This year the prayer service will be held at 9am and led by Imam Moulana Shoaib Bin Abdur Rouf.
The Bangladesh Railway has organised two special trains called the Sholakia Special for people attending the jamaat.
The Gor-E-Shaheed Boro Maidan ground in Dinajpur has also been close to Sholakia in terms of the biggest congregation. Around 600,000 people can participate in the prayer service held at the 22-acre ground, the organisers said. The Eid service will be held at 8:30. Two special trains have also been arranged for those participating in the congregation there.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy rain in the Rangpur, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions on Eid day.
Rain is less likely in other parts of the country on Monday, according to meteorologist Omar Faruk.
DHAKA
As per tradition, the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque will hold five Eid jamaats.
The first one at 7am will be led by Pesh Imam Hafiz Moulana Ehsanul Haque and the second one, at 8am, by Hafiz Moulana Muhiuddin Kashem.
The third jamaat at 9am will be led by the Islamic Foundation’s Mufassir Moulana Abu Saleh Patwary, while Moulana Syed Wahiduzzaman, Muhtamim of Jameya Arabia in Mirpur, will lead the fourth congregation at 10am. The final jamaat at 10:45am will be led by Mufti Moulana Mohammad Abdullah of the Islamic Foundation.
High Court Mazar Mosque’s Imam Hafez Md Ashraful Islam will replace them if any of the imams are absent.
An Eid Jamaat will be held at 8:30am at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.
At Dhaka University's Central Mosque, two jamaats will be held. The first will start at 8:00am while the second will be at 9:00am. Additionally, three separate jamaats will also be held on the lawns of Salimullah Muslim Hall at 7am, Dr Muhammed Shahidullah Hall at 8am and at the playground on the eastern side of Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall at 8:00am.
At the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) playground, Eid prayers will start at 7:00am.
In addition, prayer services will be held at the Baitun Nur Jaame Mosque in the Dhaka University residential area at 8am and at the BTCL Colony Jaame Mosque in Moghbazar at 8am.
At the Enayet Mosque on Dhanmondi Road No.3 the jamaat will begin at 7:30am, at Baitul Aman Mosque on Road No. 7 at 8am; Taqwa Mosque at Road 12A at 8 am, and at Sobhanbag Mosque at 8am.
Three jamaats will be held at the Gulshan Central Mosque and Eidgah with the first at 6am, the second at 7:30am and the third at 9am.
The Markazul Fikril Islami (Bashundhara Complex) in Bashundhara Residential Area will hold Eid prayers at 7:00am; the Umme Kulsum Jaame Masjid in Bashundhara C block at 7:15am; the F-Block Jaame Masjid at 7:30am; the Baitul Jannat Jaame Masjid at 7:45am; the Madinatul Ulum Madrasa at K block at 7:45am, and the Fakihatul Millat Jaame Masjid in N-Block at 8 am.
The first Eid jamaat at the Harun Mollah Eidgah, Park and Playground in Mirpur-12 begins at 7:00am.
CHATTOGRAM
The main Eid Jamaat in Chattogram will be held at 7:30am at the Jamiatul Falah National Mosque ground. There will be a second jamaat at 8:15am at the same location.
The Chattogram City Corporation has also arranged Eid Jamaats at nine mosques across the city at 7:30am.
The mosques are: Laldighi City Corporation Jaame Masjid, Hazrat Sheikh Farid (R) Chashma Eidgah Masjid, Sugandha Residential Area Jaame Masjid, Chawkbazar City Corporation Jaame Masjid, Zahur Hawkers Market Jaame Masjid, South Khulshi (VIP) Residential Area Jaame Masjid, Arefin Nagar Central Graveyard Jaame Masjid, Sagarika Gorubazar Jaame Masjid, and Maa Ayesha Siddiqa CHASIK Jaame Masjid.
Also, separate Eid jamaats will be held at the city corporation wards, organised by the ward councillors.
