BNP to name candidate for Narayanganj City mayor election Tuesday
The BNP will announce its nominee for the Narayanganj City mayor elections on Tuesday.

"(Khaleda Zia) has met the leaders of BNP's Narayanganj units. We hope to announce the name by the Tuesday evening," Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told the media on Monday.
Several leaders of Narayanganj BNP said five names have been proposed. They are Taimur Alam Khandker, Abul Kalam, Shakhawat Hossain, ATM Kamal, Prof Mamunur Rashid, Abdul Hai Raju and Rashida Zamal.
Narayanganj BNP's General Secretary Kazi Munir told reporters that they had proposed some names but they will fully support whoever wins the nomination.
