He said this while addressing a press conference at the Dhanmandi party office of AL President Sheikh Hasina on Saturday after the third phase of the ninth UP polls.

This year for the first time UP elections at 614 Unions in 48 districts are being held under party symbol.

One of the election commissioners has expressed dissatisfaction over the violation of rules and regulations in the polls.

Claiming that the BNP’s role in the election was ‘as a part of conspiracy’ he said, since AL had several winnable candidates at different places, some of them might have revolted.

“BNP is trying to indulge in violence with the support of them,” he said.
