Hasina hosts Iftar for politicians
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hosted an Iftar for leaders of various political parties.

It was held at her official residence, Ganabhaban, in capital Dhaka on Monday.
The prime minister went around different tables set for the guests and exchanged pleasantries with them.
A special prayer was also offered right before Iftar.
Parliament Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Prime Minister’s Special Envoy and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, LGRD Minister and Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam sat on the same table with Hasina.
Cabinet members, members of Parliament, leaders of the ruling party and its various affiliates, and leaders of Jatiya Party, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSaD), Samyabadi Dal, Islami Oikya Jote attended the Iftar.
Former BNP minister Barrister Nazmul Huda was also present.
Employees of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also attended the Iftar.
