Police have picked up a Dhaka South councillor aspirant Abul Khair Bablu, also the BNP’s general secratary of their Ward 15 unit, from a house in Hazaribagh.

Hazaribagh OC Mainul Islam said he was picked up from the Tali Office area around Friday noon. “He has a number of cases against him related to acts of violence with the Dhanmondi police and an arrest warrant issued by court.”
