Khaleda’s Special Assistant Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas told reporters on Saturday that the doctors sedated her since she was not feeling well.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was headed to the BNP chief’s Gulshan office to console her over the death of Arafat Rahman Coco.
Coco, who was carrying a six-year jail sentence on his head for money laundering, died of heart failure in Malaysia.
Khaleda’s Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan told bdnews24.com that the 45-year-old was being taken to a hospital on Saturday afternoon Bangladesh time but he died on the way.
