No bus left Chattogram city for Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari, while none came to Chattogram either
Mannan's son Salim Hussain said the image of his father in Syria holding up a finger - a symbol associated with Islamic State fighters – was a ‘pure IS propaganda’.
"My father is confused, sad, he is crying every day - [he's] not in peace," Salim Hussain told ITV News’ UK Editor Rohit Kachroo.
Mannan, 75, his wife and 10 others in the family, who lived in Luton, have not been seen after they left for a trip to Bangladesh in May.
The IS claimed in a statement that the family were ‘safer than ever’ with them.
Hussain insisted that there was no sign that any of his siblings had become radicalised or planned to flee to Syria.
“Police couldn't find any proof, they found nothing suspicious,” he told the ITV News.
