Malaysian state news agency Bernama said the trio went missing after the incident occurred around at 8:30pm local time at the Kota Damansara worksite in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
It said Bangladeshi embassy there had been informed of the incident.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak expressed shock at the incident in his Twitter page and asked for an investigation soon.
A Selangor Fire and Rescue Department official was quoted by Bernama as saying that the bodies of the three workers were sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for autopsy.
MRT Corp Chief Executive Officer Azhar Abdul Hamid at the scene told reporters they were working to get more information on what caused the concrete span to collapse.
On Tuesday, Hamid resigned.
