Poets Shamsur Rahman and Al Mahmud in photos

The 66th solo exhibition by noted photographer Nasir Ali Mamun is ongoing at Alliance Française de Dhaka. The exhibition titled “Photoseum: Life of Poetree” presents exclusive black and white portraits of two legendary poets, Shamsur Rahman and Al Mahmud. The exhibition, which features snapshots of rare moments in the lives of the two poets, kicked off on Friday and will continue for two weeks.

‘Love and Life Through My Eyes’

Photographer Touhid Parvez Biplob’s solo exhibition titled “Love and Life Through My Eyes” was held at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (BSK) in Dhaka. The two-day event ended on Saturday.

Chobi Mela returns

After two years, the lens turns back on the world. The 11th edition of Chobi Mela brings together photographers from 18 countries, transforming the National Art Gallery Auditorium of the Shilpakala Academy into a space where images document struggle, celebration and change. The biennial festival is jointly organised by Drik Picture Library and Pathshala South Asian Media Institute.

Photojournalist Sony Ramany’s first solo photography exhibition titled “Endangered Nature and Environment” has concluded. The week-long exhibition ended on Friday at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Raghu Rai's Liberation War photo exhibition

Renowned Indian photojournalist Raghu Rai's solo exhibition, showcasing 53 photographs captured during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, is being held at the Zainul Gallery of Dhaka University's Faculty of Fine Arts.
