55 years of independence
Bangladesh celebrates its 55th anniversary on the world map with a series of commemorative events. On Thursday, at Savar National Memorial, President Mohammed Sahabuddin, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, and citizens from all walks of life lay floral tributes to honour the nation’s heroic martyrs.
