Rampant illegal logging plagues Sundarbans

Vulnerable regions of the expansive Sundarbans face relentless assaults from illegal loggers, day and night. These perpetrators indiscriminately fell a variety of trees, often disregarding the need for authorisation. Mirroring the local coastal inhabitants who harvest trees for firewood, these intruders also target the Sundarbans' prized trees, illicitly chopping them down for lucrative profits.
