Although it is illegal to operate battery-powered three-wheeler easybikes and rickshaws on Bangladesh's streets, the demand for the vehicles keeps rising as revenue streams from them are strong and the physical toll is easier on drivers. However, the archaic charging process for the batteries of such vehicles remains quite risky.
