Morning fragrance at Shahbagh

Many people come to Shahbagh, one of Dhaka's largest wholesale and retail flower markets, early in the morning to buy flowers. Almost all types of flowers are brought to the market from different parts of Bangladesh. As the day progresses, the flowers spread to retail shops in the city.

Throughout the day, Shahbagh's flower shops provide a range of colourful flowers, while in the morning, a wholesale market sets up near Shishu Park (children's park). Photo: Tawhiduzzaman Tapu
