Glow & Lovely has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to become the official Training & Growth Partner for the Bangladesh Women’s National Team.
The partnership was formally announced at a signing ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, where representatives of the BFF, senior officials from Unilever Bangladesh, and members of the women’s national team—including Umehla Marma, Afeida Khandaker Pranti, and Yearzan Begum—were present, according to a media statement from Unilever.
“Under this agreement, Glow & Lovely—one of the country’s leading skincare brands—will be associated with the Bangladesh Women’s National Football Team’s training and growth journey for the next two years,” the statement said.
“This partnership will go towards facilitating the personal development training for the stars of the Women’s national team. Glow & Lovely’s commitment to women’s advancement has long been at the core of the brand.”
Glow & Lovely touted its initiatives to create opportunities for women, particularly in pursuing careers and entrepreneurship.
“The brand believes in empowering women to build their own identity and move forward with confidence. This partnership with the national women’s football team is a natural extension of that belief.”
The Glow & Lovely logo will now be featured on official practice and training-related team assets, including training kits and selected BFF-controlled communication platforms as part of the partnership.
Speaking on the partnership, Zaheen Islam, beauty & wellbeing head of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, said:
“Glow & Lovely has long been committed to empowering women through growth and development initiatives. Continuing that journey, we are proud to support the team as their Training and Growth Partner for the next two years. We believe these footballers will inspire women across the country to move forward with confidence and ambition. Their achievements will also encourage the next generation of aspiring footballers.”
Describing the partnership as a significant milestone, Tabith Awal, president of the BFF, said:

“This partnership with Glow & Lovely is highly significant in terms of brand association and recognising women’s talent. I believe the brand's synergy will positively reflect on the players as well. At the same time, women’s football is emerging as a strong ambassador for Bangladesh, as the sport is currently playing a vital role in representing the country’s women on the global stage.”
Highlighting the agreement as a major boost for women’s football and player development, Fahad Karim, vice-president of the Bangladesh Football Federation, said:
“Glow & Lovely is a brand with a legacy spanning more than three decades. Partnering with such a renowned brand is itself a form of strong branding for us. Their support in an important area like Training and Growth Development is truly encouraging. I believe this partnership will inspire not only the current players, but also future generations of footballers.”
Yearzan Begum, SAFF-winning goalkeeper of the Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Team, thanked Glow & Lovely for its support. She said:
“As our training requires us to spend long hours under the sun, it feels great to have a brand like Glow & Lovely standing beside us. We hope to bring home the SAFF Championship trophy once again with their support.”
Midfielder Umehla Marma also expressed her excitement about the partnership. She said:
“We are truly happy to have Glow & Lovely by our side. We hope they will continue supporting us in the future as well.”
At the signing ceremony, the captain of the national women’s football team, Afeida Khandaker Pranti, said:
“This is the first partnership of such scale for our team, and I would like to thank Glow & Lovely for their support sincerely. We now have the opportunity to secure a hat-trick title at the upcoming SAFF Championship, and we will strive to make the most of this partnership in achieving that goal.”
Beyond sponsorship, Glow & Lovely will also work towards supporting training, growth, and development initiatives that contribute to the continued progress of women’s football in Bangladesh, according to officials from Unilever Bangladesh.
