Brahmanbaria, Jan 28 (bdnews24.com) – Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan was buried at his home village in Brahmanbaria Thursday morning within hours of his execution for the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The body reached at Gopinathpur village in Kasba upazila at around 6:30am; he was buried half an hour later.
He was laid to rest beside his mother's grave according to his last wish.
Five convicted killers were hanged early hour Thursday at Dhaka Central Jail. The bodies in five ambulances, escorted by RAB and police, headed for their home villages after the executions.
